Doc... August 2005

Well......after putting my disc lock on my FatBoy, I realised that the push-button locking mechanism of the disc lock was on the INSIDE of the disc near to the full, spokeless wheels.

And guess what?!? I had to snap the key in half and gently manouvre the stub part of the key into the lock. Took about 10 minutes all up with several pissed off fellow bikers waiting to go on a ride, to get the bloody lock off the disc.

Or, how about being the only dickhead at Frasers on the morning of the Memorial Ride to start his bike IN GEAR and just about do a ram-raid on the front door.

Or trying to be a cool dude outside Woolworths in Mayfield and riding up the entrance ramp only to have the bike move forward on the pebble coat suface after the stand was deployed, and to have the whole lot come crashing down - one redfaced biker half under the bike, my helmet rolling through the front door and the air blue with my innermost thoughts on the situation. Chipped the front guard, snapped the clutch lever, scratched the clutch inspection cover and bent the forward controls. A portly philosopher sitting on the seat outside the main door said, "Geez mate, ya shouldn'ta parked there......."

Mick... August 2005

Did you hear how I busted the belt on me Dyna, blitzing a 2 ltre pocket rocket off a set of lights? Had him on the change of lights, had him across the intersection (double lanes both ways), clutch-less shift to second gear, snapped the throttle open again and clang, clang, clang, whadaf*ck was that??,

No go, no drive, shut it off, roll around the corner into the shadows and called the mate, come get, quick!! Bloody stoopid belt bloody drive!!

Yeah, real good one!! Still, I did beat off the line, yeehah!!
